Transformer Insulation Management System.
TOR-5 is a comprehensive system for stream oil monitoring and processing at online operating transformers. The unit consists of 3 functional sections enclosed in one device: The monitoring and data collection section is designed to monitor the condition of oil and to inform of the need to process it. It includes a system of sensors, can be optionally expanded by means of a data processing and trans-mission module, a Web interface with access control. The oil processing section is designed to remove mois-ture from transformer oil. It consists of 3 adsorbers with aluminosilicate sorbent, a transfer pump, a filter with an air trap and an air release valve. The TSS section is designed to connect the equipment for optional oil purification to the transformer tank and to protect the transformer: to remove the air from the piping and to monitor the oil level in the transformer while processing.
